While statewide unemployment was up slightly last month, jobless figures on the Suncoast were down slightly. Florida’s four-point-nine percent unemployment rate in November was a tenth-of-a point higher than it was in October. Charlotte and Sarasota counties were each a tenth-of-a-point lower; five-point-four percent in Charlotte and four-point-six percent in Sarasota.
