Come alive under the lights: North Port’s Got Talent returns for its 5th year
NORTH PORT, FL — The spotlight is on, the curtain is rising, and the show is about to begin. North Port Parks & Recreation invites performers of all ages to step into the spotlight at the 5th Annual North Port’s Got Talent on May 9. This year’s showcase captures the thrill of a show stopping experience, celebrating fearless performances, big dreams, and the unforgettable moments that begin when the curtain goes up and the lights find the stage.
From singers and dancers to musicians, comedians, and one-of-a-kind acts, performers are invited to bring their passion to life and wow the crowd. This is your moment to come alive, take the stage, and show North Port what makes you shine.
Participants may choose from two divisions based on training intensity. The Performance Division is ideal for performers who train four hours or less per week, while the Competitive Division is designed for those who dedicate five or more hours each week to honing their craft. Over the past four years, more than 100 individual performers and groups from North Port and the surrounding area have stepped into the spotlight, creating unforgettable moments on stage.
Performer registration remains open through March 20, or until capacity is reached, and there is no registration fee. Categories include Youth under 18, Youth Group under 18 with two or more contestants, Adult over 18, and Adult Group over 18 with two or more contestants. All registrations will be reviewed by staff, and selected participants will be notified.
Do not wait to claim your moment in the spotlight or plan to be part of the audience as the community’s talent takes center stage. For full details or to register, visit NorthPortFL.gov/NPGT or contact North Port Parks & Recreation at 941-429-PARK (7275), option 3.
