A man was fatally stabbed Wednesday in North Port following an attempted kidnapping of a woman. Police say 32-year-old John Christopher Ludwick of Port Charlotte tried to kidnap a woman around 6am when she was leaving her vehicle on Wesley Lane. Ludwick was stabbed during the struggle and fled the scene. He was found with life-threatening injuries a short time later and died at the hospital. The police did not confirm that the woman who was on scene stabbed the man, but also did not mention anybody else involved. Ludwick has been linked to the death of Natalee Holloway through his friendship with Jordan Van Der Sloot. Ludwick allegedly revealed where Holloway’s body is buried to his roommate and admitted his best friend, Van Der Sloot is the killer.
