The City of North Port has released the findings of its 2016 Citizen Services Survey.

Earlier this year, the City administered the survey to gauge resident’s opinions of the City’s projects, programs, and services as well as the community’s overall quality of life. Of the 2,000 random households who received the survey, the City received 538 responses, which resulted in a four percent margin of error.
According to the results, 85 percent of respondents rated the City of North Port as an excellent or good place to live and 89 percent of respondents said they would recommend living in North Port to someone who asks. When it came to safety, 92 percent of respondents said they felt save in neighborhood. Also, according to the results, 73 percent of respondents thought the overall quality of services for the City of North Port rated excellent or good.
