Police in North Port made a drug bust after a car failed to move over or slow down as the driver drove past a crash. Police claim 20-year old Taylor Bennett of Palmetto drove too close to law enforcement vehicle as they investigated a crash. Once she was stopped, Bennett allowed police to search her car…where they then found more than 200 grams of marijuana, a scale, baggies, and more than $1,700 in cash. January also happens to be ‘Move Over’ month in Florida…where police are paying extra attention to drivers who come too close to vehicles stopped on the side of the road.
