Police in North Port are looking for a man who allegedly tried to scam a convenience store.

Officials say a man walked into the Circle K at Sumter Boulevard and Price Boulevard around 11 a.m. Sunday and picked up 3 cans of fix-a-flat off the shelf. He then went to the counter to try and ‘return them’ for a refund.

He is described as a medium build black male in his 30s with a full beard. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
