Police in North Port are asking for the public’s help after a body was found in an undeveloped area on Saturday.
The body of 20-year-old Tyren Anthony Kinard, of Port Charlotte was found on Sawyer Circle near the Charlotte County line around 730 Saturday morning.
Police have said it is a homicide and active murder investigation.
Anyone with information about Kinard or who may have seen him Friday is asked to call police.
