North Port Police Arrest Repeat Offender in Narcotics Investigation

North Port, FL – May 21, 2025 – The North Port Police Department (NPPD) executed a search warrant Wednesday morning at a residence on Myrtlewood Road, resulting in the arrest of 50-year-old Matthew Millette. He now faces charges for the sale of fentanyl and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

This marks the second time NPPD has served a narcotics-related search warrant at the same address.

“Our message is simple,” said Chief Todd Garrison. “We want to make sure our community is safe, and we will hold anyone accountable who jeopardizes that.”

Millette is currently being held without bond at the Sarasota County Jail.
