North Port Police DepartmentThis week, NPPD executed a residential search warrant for possession of child pornography. The result of a year and a half long investigation. The defendant, Richard Allen Deivert (55 YOA), is charged with 54-counts of possession of child pornography for images and videos, utilizing multiple online platforms. He was arrested and transported to the Sarasota County Jail where he currently sits. More charges are pending.
