The young man that perished in Friday nights fire was Tyler Rhoades. Tyler was a beloved member of the Twisted Fork Restaurant family. The Twisted Fork released the following : It is with the saddest of hearts 💔 that we let you all know that our beloved Fork family member, Tyler, passed away yesterday. This young man was the brightest light, and the biggest personality you could ever know. Singing and loving people were 2 of his many passions. If you didn’t have the honor of knowing TyTy, we’re truly sorry.

There will be a permanent hole in the hearts of many. Tyler’s memory and light will live on forever and always. Thank you for being a once in a lifetime Fork family member since the very beginning Tyler 💔💔💔💔

North Port House Fire Claims Life Of Man And Pets -December 16, 2024
North Port Fire Rescue responded to the 3800 block of Trenton Lane on Dec. 16 at 12:10 p.m. to check an extinguished fire. The call was upgraded to a residential structure fire response. Firefighters reported no fire was visible from the exterior upon arrival. Firefighters made their way inside to investigate and discovered an extinguished fire which appeared to have originated in the kitchen area of this single-story home. Smoke and soot were present throughout the home. Further investigation revealed an adult male deceased in a rear bedroom of the home. Two cats and two dogs also perished. Firefighters worked to ventilate the structure and ensured that all fire was extinguished. No working smoke alarms were present in the home. A joint investigation by the North Port Police Department and the State Fire Marshal is underway.
