A North Port man is accused of threatening a woman with a knife and assaulting her. The Englewood Sun reports the victim told police that, during an argument, 68-year-old Samuel Weber brandished a silver knife and said–quote–“I’m going to cut you and kill you.” According to police reports, Weber than grabbed her by the hair and threw her on the floor. With the help of another woman and that women’s husband, the victim was taken to North Port Emergency Room with cuts and bruises. Weber is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery on a person 65 or older.
