A 33-year-old Nokomis man who was walking down Interstate 75 was killed by a hit-and-run drunk driver early Saturday morning. Police say Christopher M. Scott was walking on the side the right southbound lane of I-75 near mile marker 211 at about 2 a.m. Saturday when he was hit by a passing Honda. The driver, Seth Braley, fled the scene but was later found and arrested. He’s now charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
