The water is once again open to swimmers at Brohard Beach in Venice after a no swim advisory had been issued late last week.
Sarasota County Government lifted the advisory on Sunday. There are still no swim advisories in effect for Lido Casino Beach, Venice Pier Beach, and Longboat Key Beach until further notice.
The most recent water quality tests done Saturday continued to find high levels of enterococcus bacteria. A new round of water testing is scheduled for tomorrow.
