The Florida Department of Health has issued a ‘No Swim’ advisory for Venice Pier Beach and North Jetty Beach.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the amount of enterococcus bacteria found during water quality testing on Wednesday, was outside acceptable limits.
The beaches remain open, however, wading, swimming and water recreation is not recommended as long as there is an advisory in place.
