The new Venice Public Library is set to open next month, and library officials are making one final fundraising push for a very big project- solar panels.
Friends of the Venice Public Library kicked off a fundraising drive this week in hopes of getting the panels installed and hooked up in time for the grand opening on December 15th.
The group estimates they are around $260,000 short of reaching their fundraising goal.
