By executive order, Gov. Ron DeSantis has added Florida residents ages 60-64 to the eligibility list.
Eligible residents who have registered for vaccination won’t be required to do it again and won’t lose their priority. The system change is for anyone who had signed up but wasn’t yet eligible. They now will need to register in the new system and begin again.
The system change will be registration for one person only. The prior system allowed the registrant to include a second person.
Upon registration, only people eligible to be vaccinated will get an account number, which will be required to get an appointment. Notification will begin only after seniors and front-line health care workers have been vaccinated.
