Friday mornings around UTC are about to get a lot more interesting. The Market at Nathan Benderson Park opens Friday, October 23, and runs every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through March 26. The setup is beside Homewood Suites, near the Ford’s Garage circle and across from the Mote SEA parking area, so it’s easy to find and easy to park near.
Expect boutique vendors, local artisans and specialty foods each week, which means a quick stop for coffee can easily turn into a full morning of browsing. Organizer Jessica Gill says the goal is to connect the larger UTC business community with local small businesses, and the weekly “Share the Love” promotion does exactly that: a UTC-area business teams up with a market vendor for raffles, giveaways, discounts or special offers.
