A Naples man involved in a hit and run last September was arrested today after a traffic homicide investigation. Then 20-year-old Carlos Gutierrez Del Arroyo was driving north on Tamiami Trail near Pine Ridge Road when he hit a car while trying to change lanes in September 2018. The crash caused the other car to go over a median and off the road. The passenger, Marie Antoinette Mechaluk, was taken to the hospital and later died. He was arrested for DUI Manslaughter among other charges.
