A longtime Naples businessman has pleaded not guilty to fraud and grand theft.
Authorities arrested 77-year-old David Gothard in June in South Carolina.
He remains in jail on $100,000 bond.
The Office of Financial Regulation has charged Gothard with securities fraud, scheming to defraud, and four counts of grand theft.
All charges stem from his business dealings in Collier and Manatee counties dating back to 2007.
