A 32-year-old North Fort Myers man from was seriously injured in a crash Friday morning in Charlotte County. FHP troopers say Edward S. Quintero was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital after a crash on U.S. 41 north of Oil Well Road.
According to troopers, Quintero had slowed down for a school bus picking up children at the entrance of Sun-N-Shade RV resort. A van behind him, driven by 31-year-old Tori E. Williamson, failed to slow down, and rear-ended Quintero’s vehicle. Williamson’s van then went into a nearby water-filled ditch. She and a passenger suffered minor injuries.
