The man accused of stabbing a 78-year-old mother to death in Naples in January, is now in the Collier County jail. Investigators arrested Thomas Evans, 35, in Houston County Georgia for France Axley’s murder two months ago. Officers found Axley dead in her condo. They said she died from “sharp force injury.” Evans had to be transported to Collier County. He’s facing a second-degree murder charge.
