A multiple-vehicle accident from Saturday night on U.S. 41 and River Road injured five hospitals. The accident happened around 7:30 when 36-year-old Jennifer Johns may have ran a red light and was hit by 50-year-old North Port resident Dionicio Quevedo. Johns’ vehicle was spun and hit another driven by 36-year-old Bradenton resident Leonid Kanter. Johns and her passenger, as well as all three occupants in Quevedo’s car were taken to hospitals for evaluation. Johns was charged with failure to stop for a red light and having no driver license.
