A person is in the hospital after being shot while operating a motorcycle on US 41 near Zemel Road in Punta Gorda. Shots were reported being fired near Interstate 75 and US 41 south of Tucker’s Grade. Police responded to an area where a woman said she heard the shots before pulling over after getting a flat tire.
