Get ready for more traffic headaches this week as part of Venice’s ongoing Downtown Beautification Project.
According to a release from the city, the 300 block of Miami Ave., between Harbor Drive and Nassau Street will be closed for the removal and replacement of storm water drains starting this morning.
That closure and subsequent detour is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.
Also in downtown Venice, the westbound lanes of West Venice Avenue will be open to driver while the eastbound lanes remain closed.
