The number of guardians hired to protect students in Manatee County schools is climbing. This Friday, thirteen more guardians will get their certificate from the Manatee County School Board. Starting on Monday, there will be thirty-one guardians on duty and two lead guardians. Seven more guardians will start training on September 17th. The county has been working to fill those forty positions for months.
