James Moore, the Port Charlotte man, accused of pistol whipping his girlfriend in Sept. 2016…leading to a standoff with an area SWAT team, is found guilty in a Charlotte County courtroom. Prosecutors say Moore broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend and beat her with two handguns. Moore was found guilty after a three-day trial. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 17…he may face up to life in prison.
