A North Port couple is facing charges after more than a dozen pets were found inside a Venice motel room.
A month-long investigation into an alleged animal training business led to the Wednesday arrests of Jennifer MacDonald and Jesse Dalton.
Police found 11 dogs and two cats living in a room at the Motel 6 and in a stolen UHaul in the parking lot.
The pair are facing multiple animal neglect charges, in addition to two already open neglect cases against them.
