The Sarasota County School District is looking to expand the campus of Venice High School.

The school is set to reach its maximum allowed enrollment within the next five years.

Among the options are adding an additional wing, at a cost of more than $10M. An entirely new school is also an option.

The district is hosting a series of meetings this week about the expansion- the first meetings are today at Venice Middle School at 2 and the high school at 430.
