NORTH VENICE — A 39-year-old man is hospitalized after suffering an alligator bite after entering a pond off of I-75. The incident took place on Sunday morning.
The man was flown by helicopter to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries to the left leg.
Florida Fish and Wildlife is investing the incident.
