A fight that broke out in a Naples shopping center parking lot ended with a man getting stabbed in the back several times with a knife. At 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, a call came into the Collier County Sheriff’s Office from in front of a DICK’S Sporting Goods store at 6171 Naples Boulevard. The suspect Kenneth Wilkinson told a deputy he met Ronald Ankney and his girlfriend Brooke Smith in the DICK’S while shopping with a friend . Thats when Wilkenson and Ankney got into a fight.Wilkinson was booked into the Naples Jail Center Wednesday evening. He is being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Ankney was flown to the Lee Memorial Hospital with a stab wound to his lungs and underwent surgery Wednesday night for his injuries.
