A motorcyclist died in an accident on Siesta Key.
The biker drove on Ocean Boulevard near the coast early yesterday.
He apparently failed to negotiate a bend in the road and crashed.
Officials at Sarasota Memorial Hospital pronounced him dead.
The highway patrol says he did wear a helmet.
