The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says it has in custody the man who intentionally set a rabbit on fire.
It says its fugitive apprehension unit worked with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Punta Gorda Police to find 22-year-old Manasseh Walker of Englewood.
Authorities found Walker yesterday afternoon on East Grace Street in Punta Gorda.
He allegedly lit the rabbit on fire after it had bitten him last month. Witnesses claimed he chased after it after lighting it.
Walker remains in the Charlotte County Jail.
