A man has been arrested and charged with killing a woman in Bradenton.
Nelson Navarro, 46, was taken into custody in Dalton, Georgia, where deputies say he fled after seriously injuring Maria De Jesus, 37, at the Centre Court Apartments on 52nd Pl W on Monday, September 3. De Jesus was found lying in the grass, bleeding. She had bruises and other injuries and was taken to the hospital. De Jesus passed away from her injuries on Saturday, September 8 after taking a turn for the worse.
