The ongoing renourishment of Lido Beach is nearly 75 percent done, according to county officials.
A pair of pumps remain out in New Pass, dredging sand and pumping it nearly two miles to the beach.
Some properties along that stretch had been down to nearly 10 feet of beach on their property due to erosion caused by strong storms.
In all, around 185,000 cubic yards of sand will be added to the beach when the project is completed.
