A large fire in Lee County caused 911 lines to light up from the southern portions of Charlotte County on Sunday. Officials told ABC-7 the smoke that enveloped much of southern Charlotte County was coming from a Lee County blaze. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was forced to send an emergency message to residents, letting them know there were no active fires in the county.
