A multiple-time felon who led police on a wrong-way chase down I-75 yesterday morning is facing a list of charges.
54-year old Jacqueline Burge, who was known to police to not have a driver’s license, ran from a traffic stop Edmondson Road and Orange Grove Avenue.
She hit multiple sheriffs’ office vehicles before she even made it to I-75, where she tried to escape by driving northbound in the southbound lanes. Burge collided with another truck on I-75 South just before Exit 193 and afterwards attempted to flee on foot, but was stopped by deputies.
Inside her vehicle, authorities say they found methamphetamine, pills, as well as drug paraphernalia.
