Keep Charlotte Beautiful Hosts Recycling Event December 6
Charlotte County residents and businesses are invited to take part in the Keep Charlotte Beautiful Recycling Event on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Murdock Walmart, located at 19100 Murdock Circle. Participants should enter the parking lot using Murdock Circle.
This annual event, hosted by Keep Charlotte Beautiful — a Keep America Beautiful affiliate — offers a safe, touchless way to dispose of unwanted items responsibly. Volunteers will unload items directly from vehicles, allowing participants to remain in their cars.
Residents can recycle a wide range of electronics, including desktop and laptop computers, televisions (no CRTs, please), monitors, printers, scanners, phones, tablets, routers, and more. Old prescriptions can be safely turned in for disposal, and personal documents can be securely shredded onsite.
Attendees are also encouraged to help brighten someone’s holiday by bringing a non-perishable food donation.
The event is made possible through partnerships with R2 Tech Smart International, RIOS, Shred-it, WM, and FDOT, with support from Charlotte County Solid Waste and Walmart.
