A 66 year-old known has been busted for sexual assault in Manatee County. The incident happened Sunday on 59th Ave. Circle East in Ellenton. Bernardo Salinas, who is popular with locals due to his ice cream truck is accused of sexual assault of a seven-year-old. Police believe the man sold ice cream to the victim and then sexually assaulted her at his home. Salinas has been charged with capital sexual battery. Anyone with more information about this case is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
