A homeless man was arrested Monday afternoon on multiple burglary and theft charges, stemming from an investigation after victims began calling in reports to the Sheriff’s Office.
A series of burglaries along Faust Drive, McKinley Terrace, and Wilimington Boulevard in Charlotte County led police to 27-year old Matthew O’Connor.
In all, police say he broke into five yards or homes before admitting to the crimes. He now faces 20 various counts on 14 charges including grand theft auto.
