Median home prices have reached new highs nationwide, but prices in this region remain below their peaks before the recession.
ATTOM Data Solutions says single-family homes and condos sold nationwide in June for a median of $231,000.
That same number in Sarasota and Manatee comes out to $230,000, but it remains 16 percent below the peak from 11 years ago.
It exceeded $273,000 at that time.
