A 37-year-old man was killed in ahead-on crash on SR-70 Thursday morning in Myakka City. The crash happened just after midnight Thursday and claimed the life of 37-year-old Land O’ Lakes resident Adam Absher. 23-year-old Jacob Vondran of Sarasota was heading eastbound on SR-70 near the intersection with Robinson Road, while Absher was heading westbound. Vondran’s vehicle crossed the center line and smashed into Absher’s. Vondran was taken to the hospital and was last listed in critical condition.
