Gov. Rick Scott is reiterating that he is not in favor of having armed teachers at schools. The House and Senate was set to discuss the issue today. The legislation would require county sheriff’s to establish a new program that would arm specially-trained staff inside schools. Scott’s stance could make the legislation difficult to make it through the House, buy the Senate appears to have the votes to pass the bill.
