Gov. Rick Scott is in town today for a campaign visit at a Venice restaurant.
The Republican Party of Sarasota is hosting a meet and greet with Scott at Mojo’s Real Cuban restaurant in Venice. That event is set to run from 1-2pm this afternoon.
Protestors are already planning to be outside the event- organizers are focusing on his environmental record and what they claim is a lack of adequate response to the ongoing red tide problem.
