VENICE- Gov. Rick Scott has appointed a Venice woman and two others to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees.
51- year old Tracy Knight is the managing director of Knight Marketing and received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Knight is appointed to a vacant seat for a term ending May 31, 2019.
The other two are either current or former executives from Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch. They’ll both serve in the vacant seats until May of 2020. SCF President Dr. Carol Probstfeld said this week the college is “thrilled to have a complete Board of Trustees.”
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
