A woman who was in charge of the accounting books for the Girl Scouts of Southwest Florida is headed to prison for 30 months, followed by a probationary period. 41-year-old Stephanie Person was charged with defrauding the chapter of tens of thousands of dollars. The money was being moved from active accounts to non-active and then being pocketed by Person. She was also ordered to pay over $112 thousand in restitution. Person was accused of stealing $85 thousand.
