Prices at the pump stayed about the same over the past week. Triple-A says low demand is keeping downward pressure on gas prices. They should remain steady for now before their annual seasonal upswing heading into spring. In Florida, the statewide average for a gallon of regular is two dollars 28 cents, unchanged from last week. In Englewood, regular averages two-20 a gallon, down five cents. In North Port, the average is two-21, down one cent. And, in Venice, a gallon of regular costs two-20, down two cents.
