Gas prices in Southwest Florida jumped 13 cents in the past week, hitting their highest levels in three years.
The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice market was $2.70 on Monday, according to AAA South.
Local gas prices are now 20 cents higher than last month and 26 cents more than a year ago.Locally, gas prices were around the $2.65 range in North Port, Englewood, Port Charlotte, and Venice.
