Gas prices continue to drop across the country as well as locally up and down the Suncoast.
Currently statewide, gas prices are a 2018-low at $2.41 for a gallon of regular unleaded, about 30 cents lower than this time last year.
AAA South says overall, gas prices have dropped nearly 40 cents, just in the past 47 days.
Locally, gas can be had for as little as $2.19 in Port Charlotte to $2.39 in North Port.
