The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission released their latest red tide report yesterday, which showed background to high concentrations in 57 samples collected from Sarasota County, and low to high concentrations in nine samples collected from Charlotte County.
Multiple fish kills have been reported in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Respiratory irritation was reported over the past week at six different Sarasota County beaches, including Venice Beach and Nokomis.
