The midweek red tide report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission once again shows the concentration of the bloom decreasing across SW Florida.

That continues a trend the FWC first reported late last week.

High concentrations were still located in Sarasota County, but in fewer locations than last week.

Even with the overall decrease, fish kills were still reported in Sarasota and Charlotte counties, with respiratory irritation reported in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
